Affectionately known locally as Spike Island, this ancient monument is situated in the centre of the village in the middle of the cross roads, much to the amusement and bewilderment of visiting motorists

Affectionately known as ‘the hovel’ this beautiful old building was once an off-license

The holy well is reputed never to have dried up at anytime in it’s history, set in to the church yard wall the well is on the footpath that leads to Pavenham and is set within an enclosure of giant rhubarb which is a protected species

A magnificent church built over 1,000 years ago.  Still a focal point of the village for many, also has the holy well flowing beneath it

The old Bakery, lovely three story property now a private residence, but remained in use up until the early 1970’s
